Oklahoma City Thunder @ Milwaukee Bucks Sat. Nov. 20th 2010 8:30pm EST

There’s no question at this point in time that the Oklahoma City thunder are arguably the team of the future as scoring machine Kevin Durant and lightning quick point guard Russell Westbrook are amongst the league’s elite players at their positions.

Even though it would be hard to argue that the Thunder are not playoff bound this season and favorites in NBA picks every single game, they have had trouble on the defensive and the floor as they just can’t stop anybody from scoring in bunches and putting up over 100 points a game.

Despite their troubles on defense, Kevin Durant and company will head to Milwaukee and try and contain up-and-coming point guard Brandon Jennings and the Bucks.

Much like the Thunder, the Bucks are a young team on the rise and haven’t really lived up to expectations thus far this season, but a win over Oklahoma City might be just what they need to get back on track and compete with the best of the best in the Eastern Conference.
This is the potential to be a close game that might come down to the wire, but I believe the Thunder are much better team and should come out on top in the end.

Golden State Warriors @ Los Angeles Lakers Sun. Nov. 21^st 2010 9:30pm EST

The two-time defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers have played as if a team possessed this season and destined to win their third straight NBA title, but just like any team full of veteran players with a lot of miles in the body, injuries are bound to happen and off nights are always around the corner

Coming into Saturday night’s matchup with the division rival Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers will be looking to defend their home court at the Staples Center in order to maintain their fairly big lead in the Pacific division.

Obviously, is a no-brainer that the Lakers will be favored to come out on top in NBA picks in this Pacific division showdown, but the Warriors have shown signs of promise the season as they are no longer team considered to be one worst the league.

With a sharp shooting of Monte Ellis and Stephen Curry, the Warriors have one of the best offenses in the league and will look to test lockdown defense the defending champs, but ultimately should be more the same as Kobe Bryant and company cruise to victory once again.

Utah Jazz @ Portland Trail Blazers Sat. Nov. 20^th 2010 10pm EST

The Utah Jazz to a disappointing end to last season as they were bumped out of the playoffs by the eventual two-time NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers with relative ease, but this season they have come into the year without Carlos Boozer and replaced him with Al Jefferson it which may have been one of the best off-season moves of any NBA team.

Even though not many people have given Utah Jazz much credit coming into this NBA regular season, Deron Williams and company have exceeded expectations and started to become favored in the free NBA picks every single week.

On Saturday night they will have their work cut out for them though as they will travel to Portland take on the Blazers in one of the hardest places to play in the NBA at the Rose Garden.

Despite the Rose Garden being a very tough place to play, the jazz are up to the task should come out with the convincing victory over Brandon Roy and his Portland Trail Blazers.

It may be hard fought battle as the Blazers do not normally back down to any other team on their home floor, but the jazz are making the case as one of the best teams in the league right now and will come out on top.
