It was only a matter of time before six NBA champion Michael Jordan and assist machine John Stockton were eligible for the Basketball Hall of Fame, but the time has finally come and along with David Robinson they are the players that look to be the front runners to be inducted this year.

The Utah Jazz were never the same once they had John Stockton running the point guard position in his infamous short shorts, Stockton was a amazing on the floor with his fundamental domination of the game. He would be a high scoring threat, but he left that up to the other half of the Jazz dynamic duo in Karl Malone. Whether it was his tenacious defense, his accuracy as a shooter or his passing, John Stockton was the total package.

As for Michael Jordan, I am surprised they didn't induct him into the Basketball Hall of Fame the moment he retired for the last time. No player in the history of the NBA has been more dominant at the shooting guard position then the Air Jordan. He was a match up nightmare for an opposing team with the ability to do literally anything on the floor and be the best at it. Scoring, steals, block shots, rebounding you name it, MJ could do it!

In my opinion, there will never be a better player than Michael Jordan. Kobe Bryant and LeBron James may come close, but no tops MJ.
